I had an amazing experience staying at Das Bergschlossl - Very Special in the Amberg région. the hotel is beautifully furnished with a charming alpine chalet feel. the Rosengarten double room was spacious and had a large bathroom with a luxurious bath and excellent shower. the breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of options including breads, cheeses, hams, fruit salad, croissants. the staff, particularly Jutta, were incredibly lovely and helpful. The underground parking facilities were convenient, and I appreciated the special treatment for my dog. Cons: No cons.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the convenient location and beautiful furnishings of this 120-year-old family-owned Schloss. The breakfast was fantastic, and we felt privileged to have stayed as guests of the owners Johanna and Klaus. We hope to revisit next year.
Felt quite safe, nothing to complain about.

This hotel is in the perfect location for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts, with ski lifts and runs right at the doorstep. the breakfast is excellent and the rooms are well-maintained with decent bathroom facilities. the small spa is a bonus for relaxation after a long day on the slopes. the friendly staff also goes out of their way to make you feel welcome, creating a comfortable atmosphere that feels like a second home.
Although the hotel has many positives, there are some drawbacks to be aware of. the storage locker for ski equipment may be a little tight, which could be inconvenient for some guests.

The rooms were decently clean, and the staff was friendly enough. The location was great, very close to the main attractions, and there was plenty of shopping nearby. We also appreciated the free breakfast and the fact that there was a fitness center available.
We were disappointed by the small room sizes and outdated décor, which felt more like a budget hotel than the luxury experience we were expecting. The noise level from outside was also quite loud at night, making it difficult to sleep.

Excellent location right next to the lifts and ski rental shop
Spacious room with a circular bed, fireplace, and kitchenette. Friendly and helpful staff who showed us how to use the fireplace and Apple TV
Limited interaction with staff, more like a guesthouse atmosphere. Small breakfast room where you have to share tables with other guests.
